"This album is a showcase and a stepping stone of what my music is. I saw a lot of exciting things happening when I heard of PPD, and I wanted to be a part of it, so I made some demo tracks to play live and this is what I came up with, "2012 demo". This release is what happens when you finally find a good reason to keep making 8 bit music, when you belong to an organization of people that reassure you that what you’re doing is awesome, and when they dance to it at the show they reinforce that your efforts are appreciated. For me, this album was about stepping outside of my comfort zone, doing things I never thought were possible in a live setting. It's all about being nervous, but finding that area of comfort, and other new feelings I didn’t know existed." - Monotony
